And if our God is for us....

I am a big Chris Tomlin fan, and several weeks ago I tried to get tickets to his upcoming concert in Hershey on March 18th. Unfortunatly, the show was SOLD OUT till we called and I was really bummed! But, I figured that I wasn't meant to go, and really didn't give it much thought after that!

I got a phone call on Friday afternoon from my uncle who told me that they just added a few more seats to the concert, and to call the box office right away if I was interested in going! He had just gotten tickets and said that it was on a first come, first serve basis. I had no plans for Friday night, but I also knew that no one in my family would want to go, and I didn't want to go by myself. I gave my aunt a call and asked if she would like to go along. She said she had to work till 7, but would see if she could get out early. So I called and was able to secure 2 tickets in section 120, to the left side of the stage.

What follows, in my opinion, was definitely GOD's way of telling me that I was supposed to be at this concert. I just can't get over how all these things came together! First of all was the fact that there were tickets available after I was told it was sold out. Then, I had no plans for that evening, and my aunt was able to go along with me, which is really a miracle in itself, because she is the BUSSIEST person I know! Anyway, she was able to get off early and was at my house by 6:30. In the meantime, my uncle called and suggested that we meet at the Hershey K-mart and ride over together to save on the parking fee. He was told that it was $12 to park, so we figured if we could save a little bit of money, that would be great! So we met him and drove over and to our suprise the parking fee was only $7 instead of $12! So that was a pleasent suprise! We saw that they were parked WAY out from the entrance and we just planned on walking! Well, as we got to the end of the line, another lane opened up and they were parking people in the FRONT ROW right at the entrance! Couldn't believe our "luck"! We parked and went right into the box office, where we anticipated a long line, which to our suprise, there was NO line! We went to pick up our tickets and asked if there was any way we could be moved to sit with my uncle and his family. It turns out that we were not only moved, but we were all moved into the CLUB section with our own PRIVATE bathrooms, snack bar, lots of tables and chairs and a balcony! WHAT??? No upgrade in price or anything!!  At this point, I didn't think we could get any "luckier", but was once again suprised when we were ushered to our seats. SECOND ROW seats right at the corner of the stage! I didn't even have to use the zoom lens on my camera, I was that close! We were right at the speaker, which I LOVED as I could feel the bass in my chest! We could also see to the sides and back of the stage, so we were watching Louie Giglio dancing along when Chris was singing! It was AMAZING! I had the best time ever and am still in awe of how things just fell together that night! I was very blessed with Louie's message, and the music was just fantastic!

I know I've practically wrote a book here, and I apologize if you've lost interest! I was so blessed to have been able to worship with so many people in one building! I could definitely feel GOD's presence in that place that night! Anyway, here are a few pics from the night. I din't get many pics as I was just too into the music! And since I went through 3 sets of batteries in the first half, I was tired of messing with the camera!

Until next time.....
